The Federal Republic of Germany is participating in the RSA Conference 2012 with a presentation by 18 German exhibitors focusing on the significance of Germany as one of the world's most important supplier of IT Security solutions.
Quality based on German technologies associated worldwide with the slogan "made in Germany" is the basis of the excellent reputation which IT Security from Germany has been enjoying around the globe. The RSA Conference therefore is an important forum for German companies to establish contacts and extend existing connections.

The German IT security association TeleTrusT Deutschland e.V. was founded in 1989 as a non-profit association promoting trustworthiness of information and communication technology in open systems environments. Today, TeleTrusT counts more than 120 members from industry, science and research as well as from public institutions. TeleTrusT evolved to a well-known competence network for IT security. The association acts as an interface and facilitates exchange of knowledge between authorities, developers of secure technologies and application solutions, providers of reliable IT services and products as well as users. Together with its members TeleTrusT encourages the development and application of trustworthy information and communication technologies. The interoperability of components and processes, the warranty of their security and consideration of global compatibility are significant criteria. Coevally the association promotes the protection of personal data, electronic identities and private user environments. TeleTrusT explores trends, standards and best-practice through collaboration and networking. In various TeleTrusT working groups IT security experts, users and interested parties meet each other in frequent meetings, workshops, round-tables and expert talks. These activities focus on reliable and trustworthy solutions complying with international standards, laws and statutory requirements. TeleTrusT is keen to promote the acceptance of solutions supporting identification, authentification and signature schemes in electronic business processes.
